Bismarck advances to soccer semifinals

Bismarck got the upper hand by scoring into the wind in the first half of Thursday’s quarterfinal game with Grand Forks Red River at the state soccer tournament. That proved to be just the tonic the Demons needed as they emerged with a 3-0 victory.

The Jamestown High School boys soccer team didn't make many mistakes on Tuesday night, but the few they did make were costly.

Demons blank Blue Jays in West soccer

The Bismarck Demons opened the evening in search of their third victory of the season against the Jamestown Blue Jays. It was a defensive battle for most of the night, but a late-first half goal by Demons defenseman Bryce Nybo was enough to earn Bismarck a 1-0 regional win.

Johnson’s hat track leads Demons to blowout victory

There was no shortage of goals at the Bismarck Community Bowl on Tuesday night. Both the early game between the St. Mary’s Saints and Minot Magicians as well as the night game featuring the Bismarck Demons and Mandan Braves offered plenty of scoring.
